Dear Colleauges and Friends, We are deeply sorry to inform you that Murat R. Sertel, the Editor-in-Chief of the Review of Economic Design and the President of Center for Economic Design, passed away due to a heart attack in Marseille, France on January 25, 2003.

The memorial service for Murat R. Sertel will be held at Bogazici University, on Friday, January 31, 2003, 10 am. The memorial service will be followed by funeral at noon.
